My work won't tell you everything about me. Neither will this list of random thoughts. But, hey, it's a start.

  1. I love love love pitching new business (hence my URL). There’s nothing like it to keep an agency's adrenaline flowing and its payroll clearing.
  2. My wife says I watch too much hockey.
  3. “Too much” is relative.
  4. I’ve worked with James Earl Jones, Errol Morris and Jason Alexander, which apparently has made me quite the name dropper.
  5. I graduated from Texas Christian University with a double major in journalism and Shiner Bock.
  6. More people have died sitting on a couch than riding on a motorcycle. So says the guy who sold me my last bike.
  7. George Strait, not Garth Brooks.
  8. I spent one summer pitching batting practice for the Texas Rangers.
  9. My favorite team is still the Red Sox.
  10. Digital is a tool, not a strategy.
  11. I’m allergic to puns. Must be something I hate.
  12. If you're not training your replacement, you're not doing your job. (Or, as Confucius said, "If you're the smartest person in a room, you're in the wrong room.")
